Thank you volunteers. Meet Books and Bricks Volunteers in action!
Parents dig a trench for a new library creating ownership for the project. When the library construction is complete, the parents ensure successful utilization by continuing to purchase books and send their children to read in the library.

Around the world, most volunteers are women. Did you know volunteers don’t take a vacation. Women in rural Africa practice self-care to prevent burn- out by resting and checking on each other. At the end of the day, their children will have a classroom or a library. Most men volunteer in the formal sector!

Books and Bricks Global college scholars volunteer by mentoring high schoolers, disbursing scholarships, handing out school supplies, reading to children during the holidays, helping students choose reading materials and they also orient new students into our education program. This is their way of giving back!
Aristotle said, ‘The essence of life is to serve others and do good’.
