We have heard from a couple of sources that people think the strike may be over by the weekend. If so then things should be back to normal by the middle of next week. Allowing us to get scholarships paid and work in the library to continue.
Kwa Muema Secondary has not been affected by the strike. There are only three teachers at this time and none of them are paid by the government. Classes have started but, according to James, very few students have shown up yet. The teachers are compiling a list of what texts they would like to purchase to facilitate three teachers managing four forms, each form with 8 subjects. We are hoping to purchase at least some of the texts in the next week.
