Happy Holidays. Five ways to give!
Scholarships: 5 years ago, a small village in rural Kenya, came together, raised enough funds to ensure that one girl in their community reported to college. With your donations to Rev. Donna Williams Scholarship Fund, we were able to support this community’s action and help the girl complete a 4-year degree. She graduated last month from university with 1st Class Honours.
We invite you to make a generous donation to fund high school ($112) or college ($6000) this holiday season and keep a student in class.
School buildings: In rural areas, schools lack basic infrastructure. Your generous donation of $15000 to construct a classroom, library or a science laboratory is most welcome. You get to name it! Did you know our school buildings are strong and could last over 100 years?
School supplies: The United Nations recommends at least 25 reading materials around the home. As a matter of fact, most households in rural areas may have only salt packages to read. That is, if they buy salt in its original packaging! A generous donation of $30 buys 5 books.
General Fund: Donate to our general fund and help us respond to critical need in our education system. Give an amount of your choice that brings you joy this season!
Finally, become a Sustainer: Monthly Sustainers are excited to commit $25/month to keep our lights on and the doors open. They donate $300 a year.
